Digital marketing assistant (Full-time) - HYBRID

What will you be doing?
Work with the Head of Digital Marketing to develop and implement client campaigns.
Execute campaigns using videography and editing techniques, including resizing graphics and videos, creating animations, and producing captivating visuals.
Manage the editorial calendar to ensure timely delivery of content across platforms.
Execute ongoing and approved campaigns according to client brand guidelines, utilizing your proficiency in various editing tools.
Engage with customers and public figures through brand accounts, demonstrating strong verbal and presentation skills.
Produce a wide variety of original content, incorporating effective copywriting and content strategies.
Keep a pulse on new and updated social media channels, trends, and proactively identify new and topical content ideas through market research and data analytics.
Requirements
Must have experience working in a corporate environment
Ownership mindset
Highly organized, creative, and collaborative thinker
Explicit attention to detail
Strong copywriting skills
Ability to create videos shot on mobile. Experience shooting videos on a professional camera is a plus.
Ability to create and edit social media videos and animations using Capcut and InShot.
Ability to edit using Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro (plus)
We are looking for a proactive team member, who is confident enough to bring their own ideas to the project and who will experiment with different versions of an edit, exploring multiple directions and styles whilst always adhering to our standard of delivering premium quality content.
Importantly, we are looking for someone who can confidently manage their time and editing workflow to fit in with rounds of feedback and deadlines. Some projects may be solo and some may be shared across our editing team remotely, so tidy project files and clean asset management is a necessity.
Able to work independently and efficiently under pressure to meet deadlines
Passion for social media, storytelling, brand building, and out-of-the-box thinking
Solutions and results-oriented, with the ability to multi-task, prioritize actions and deadlines
Experience in data analytics to monitor insights and trends.
Experience using Google Workspace, Asana and Slack
Previous experience working with hospitality, fashion and creative industry brands
Proficiency with scheduling tools (such as Buffer and Later)
Proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite and Canva
Ability to create and edit basic social media videos and animations using Capcut and InShot
Recent graduate or Bachelor's degree
3+ years of experience working in social media preferred
Must own an iPhone and a laptop
This is NOT a remote position and work will be done out of our office in Lagos, Nigeria
Compensation will depend on experience
